Bramble Cottage
Bramble Cottage is a delightful 200-year old stone terraced cottage in Bramham,
about 3 miles south of Wetherby. It has two bedrooms, each with a window seat,
a lounge with fireplace and a small dining area. As usual, David and Anne have
taken pride in the details: a Persian rug in the lounge, TV with DVD, an MP3 player,
dishwasher, not to mention the artwork and accessories to make you feel at home.
Behind the cottage is a paved patio with furniture and a BBQ, also a storage shed
with lock. We now have free Wifi available here as well.
By the way, the name Bramble has nothing to do with nasty thorns; it was chosen
because of the sweet berries which Anne turns into jam. Bramham also happens to
be the area where David and Anne pick most of their brambles every year (can’t
tell you where, though!) – some people know them as blackberries.
Bramble is on a quiet street and 100 yards from a pub just 2 mile off the A-1,
halfway between London and Edinburgh and equidistant to York, Leeds and Harrogate
(about 12 miles from each), within striking distance of the Yorkshire Dales,Wetherby
Race course is 6 miles away there are several historic houses and gardens near
including Bramham Park 1 mile & Harewood House 5 miles.

From the M1, exit at Junction 45 and follow signs for "A64 - York & Leeds".
At the roundabout, take the exit marked "Bramham". 1.4 miles from that Bramham
turn, make a right turn - signed for "Tadcaster". Go .3 miles from this turn and
take 3rd left turn - opposite first houses on right. This is High Street, but
the sign is on the left side of the street, difficult for you to see. Bramble
