Oaks Lane is on the right, about 1 mile from the A1 – but the entrance to the
lane is difficult to see when you come from the A1.
When you see the church up ahead on the left, start looking on the right – Oaks
Lane is immediately before a terrace of three pale brick Victorian Houses with
black & gold railings.
If you get to Westwood Way, you’ve gone too far – make a U-turn and come back.
(Note: the entrance to Oaks Lane is easier to see coming from the other direction,
so it may be just as easy to look for Westwood Way in the first place. Don’t
go into Westwood Way, though – just make a U-turn as if you’re going back to the
A1.)
Once you’re in Oaks Lane, Four Gables is 100 metres on the left after three garages
& before the yew hedge. Pass through double oak gates and pull round to the
right and park in front of the house.
